2. Prepare the tostada shells (if not using pre-made):

Brush corn tortillas lightly with olive oil and place them on the baking sheet.
Bake for 5–7 minutes per side, flipping once, until golden and crisp.

In a bowl, toss shredded chicken with BBQ sauce until evenly coated.
Warm slightly in a skillet or microwave if needed.

4. Assemble tostadas:

Spread a spoonful of black beans (optional) on each tostada shell.

Top with your favorite toppings: lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, sour cream, etc.
Serve immediately with lime wedges for a fresh finish.

Notes

  • Shortcut Tip: Use pre-made tostada shells and rotisserie chicken to save time.

  • Tostada Swap: Use flour tortillas, naan, or pita rounds if you don’t have corn tortillas.

  • Make It Spicy: Use spicy BBQ sauce or top with jalapeños and a drizzle of hot sauce.

  • Make It Vegetarian: Swap chicken for BBQ jackfruit or seasoned black beans.

  • Storage: Store all components separately. Assembled tostadas are best enjoyed fresh so they don’t get soggy.
