Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked turkey bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup chopped chicken ham (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Season the chicken breasts with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

Place the seasoned chicken into the bottom of the slow cooker.

In a small bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Pour the mixture over the chicken.

Cover and cook on low for 45 hours or until the chicken is tender and cooked through.

About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the chicken. Cover and let the cheese melt.

Add the crumbled turkey bacon and chopped chicken ham on top. Cover again and heat for another 510 minutes.

Garnish with chopped parsley before serving. Serve over rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes if desired.

Notes

  • Browning the butter deepens the flavor—watch carefully so it doesn’t burn.

  • For best results, use unsweetened pistachio butter to control sweetness and highlight the natural nuttiness.

  • Semisweet or dark chocolate chips are ideal to balance the richness of the dough.

  • If using salted pistachios, reduce the added salt or skip the sea salt topping.

  • Slightly underbake for ultra-gooey centers—bars continue to set as they cool.

  • Easily customize with white chocolate, dried fruit, or a dash of citrus zest.

  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4–5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.

  • For clean slices, let bars cool completely and use a sharp, serrated knife.
